INFORMATION AND GROWERS GUIDE FOR

BROMELIADS (Broms)

The majority of Bromeliads will grow fine with other plants in the garden or pots just remember bromeliads are part of the air plant family. Broms are extremely easy to grow they can be grown under a patio, veranda, shade houses, under or in a tree or hanging basket and in the garden. Broms would be one of the easiest plants to grow

Please keep away from copper, copper can kill bromeliads, this can include run off from copper treated logs or some fungicide sprays will contain copper

As Bromeliads are part of the air plant family try not to spray any amounts of pest oils around them as this can suffocate your plant.

Most new growers also are surprised to know how many different types of bromeliads there are. even the  eatable pineapple is a bromeliad. The air plant old mans beard is also a bromeliad. For more information please click on the list below
