Growing Bromeliads From Seed
Growing bromeliads
from seed requires lots of patchents as the mother plants need to
flower then the seed needs time to develop and then it may tack over
1yr to see good growth of the seed some seed we have put down has
taken over 2yrs be grow only a few centimetre.

Once you have your seed
Lay this on top of a tray full of a mix of peet and perlight (40-60% ether way). Just remember that the seed needs to be kept moist not wet. You can also use spag moss we sell this in small amounts this is excellent for the small grower as it hold good moisture without having to water all the time.
then place in growing area this needs to be shelted from wind and rain and be under equiverlent to 80% shade cloth. you will need to keep moist but not wet.
Some growers spray with a very light mix of bleach every few weeks to keep every thing sterial (i dont bother and i would get a few less plants but are happy)
